Local councillor Debbie Wallice has called for Betsi Cadwaldr University Health Board to 'ensure a clean and smooth transition' and to keep residents heavily involved and informed when it takes over the running of the community surgery at the start of next month.
The local surgery will be the latest GP service in Wrexham to be took over by the Health Board from the 1st October.
Local member for Borras Park, Councillor Debbie Wallice said: "Borras Park Surgery is a life line for many of my residents, it’s vital the Health Board ensure a clean and smooth transition whereby residents are kept informed with updates every step of the way.”
She added: “It’s important the Health Board keep or even improve the level of service their patients have been receiving for the last few years. I’ll be working to monitor the level of service the Health Board intend to provide, to ensure there’s no dip in patient care and that they’re being held to account.”
