New Wrexham Businesses Benefiting from Government Start Up Loans New businesses in Wrexham have benefited from over £30,000 to help them set-up, as part of the Government’s Start Up Loans scheme. The scheme is designed to support people looking to set up their own business, and has so far led to the establishment of nine new businesses in Wrexham. Conservative Andrew Atkinson has welcomed the figures:“This is great news for Wrexham, and for the country as a whole. “It shows the Start-Up Loans scheme is giving people in Wrexham ,with the ideas and determination to start a new business, the finance they need to kick-start and grow it.” “By backing businesses to create more jobs, the Conservatives are ensuring that more people in Wrexham can have the security and stability of a regular pay packet, with a brighter future ahead of them.” Across the UK more than 20,000 Start-Up loans, worth over £100 million, have been awarded to help new businesses get going.
